Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and our tools run on your own computer. This page explains the details in plain language.

Who we are

This website, www.habibok.com, the LazyCreation Store and the LazyCreation social media pages are run by Md. Habib / LazyCreation, a one-person creative studio based in Doha, Qatar. Contact: info@habibok.com.

What we collect

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the site has no user accounts.

Our tools

LazyPC Inspection and Lazy Alarm are downloads that run entirely on your own computer. They do not send reports, alarms, notes or any other data to us or to anyone else. Lazy Alarm only connects to the internet if you yourself add a Google Calendar link or an update source in its settings. PC Optimizer Pro runs on your own computer with administrator rights, never connects to the internet, and writes its settings, history and reports only to %APPDATA%\PCOptimizerPro. Lazy SEO also runs on your own computer: it fetches public search, domain and trend data straight from those public sources over your own internet connection (so they see your IP address, as with any visit), keeps its cache and any API keys you add on your machine, and sends nothing to us. Each tool's guide has its own privacy section with the full list of what it reads and writes.

LazyLocal (www.habibok.com/lazylocal/) is a free tool that runs in your browser, with no account and no analytics script on its page. Your posting list, recent searches, ad and message drafts, chosen country, theme and cached exchange rates stay in your browser's storage; we never receive them, and clearing site data removes them. To do its job the page contacts a few outside services directly from your browser, which therefore see your IP address: a geo-IP lookup (GeoJS, with ipwho.is as a fallback) that shows "you are browsing from …" and picks your country, flag images from flagcdn.com, site icons from Google's icon service (which sees the listed sites' domain names), Google Fonts, and exchange rates from open.er-api.com when you open the currency converter. "Live check" makes your browser contact each listed site, plus a cdnjs.com test address. Voice search, if you switch it on, is handled by your browser. Search words leave your device only when you open a search on another site.

How we use information

We do not sell personal data, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Legal basis. Where the law asks for it (EU / EEA, UK, Switzerland), analytics cookies are set only with your consent; elsewhere they rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Either way you can switch them off at any time via Cookie settings. Hosting, fonts and security logs rely on our legitimate interest in running a fast, safe website. Replying to your messages and delivering work you ordered is necessary for that request or contract.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make the site work: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (Analytics, Search Console, Gmail for our mailbox), Squarespace / Mailgun (forwarding of our business email) and, if you choose to use them, the social networks where you contact us. Each of them handles data under its own privacy policy. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Social media and the LazyCreation Autopost app

We publish our own posts to our own Facebook Page and Instagram account through an automation that uses the official Meta APIs ("LazyCreation Autopost"). The app is used only by us, only to publish our content. It does not collect, read or store personal data of people who follow, like, comment or message, and nobody else can log in with it.

Cookies

We use one kind of cookie: Google Analytics, to count visits and downloads. How it starts depends on where you are. If you visit from the European Union / EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland (or we cannot tell your country), a small bar asks first, and Google Analytics is not even loaded — no analytics data goes to Google — until you press Accept. Elsewhere, analytics starts without a prompt. Wherever you are, the Cookie settings link in the footer opens the same bar: press No thanks and analytics stops, its cookies are deleted, and that choice is remembered in your browser until you change it or clear your site data. If you press Accept, we ask again after a year.

To know which of the two applies, the page asks our own server for your country code (taken from your connection by our host, Cloudflare). We do not store it, and no IP address or city is returned.

Apart from that, the site itself stores only small preferences in your browser, such as the language you chose for a guide and your cookie choice. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on; the site keeps working without them.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months in Google Analytics. Emails and messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for our normal business records, then deleted when no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or Qatar) you may have additional legal rights; we will honour them wherever you are.

Data deletion requests

To have your data deleted, email info@habibok.com with the subject "Data deletion request" from the address you used to contact us, or tell us the social profile or number you used. We will delete your messages and contact details within 30 days and confirm by reply. The LazyCreation Autopost app stores no user data, so there is nothing to delete there.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Significant changes will be mentioned on the home page.
